Katie
is an actress, writer and director as
well as a Keynote Speaker, workshop
facilitator, and
creativity consultant. The
single thread that weaves all of these elements together is Creativity.
She is a contributor to O,

well as the author of a new book entitled, Improvisation
For The Spirit: Live A More Creative, Spontaneous and Courageous Life
Using the Tools of Improv Comedy.
She is the creator, actor, co-author, and director of her internationally
touring women’s sketch comedy troupe Broad Comedy which
she writes with her husband, Soren Kisiel. She is also the
co-artistic director of the Equinox Theatre Company with
her husband with whom she does other co-things that led to co-parenting
most recently.
Katie is a Keynote Speaker and panelist for conferences,
corporations and major universities. She runs inspirational workshops and creative
retreats under the title of Improvisation
For The Spirit Workshops & Retreats at
conferences as well as corporate and private groups. She is a founding member
of the nationally touring comedy improv comedy troupe, Spontaneous
Combustibles. She and her husband, Soren, were recently nominated for the
MacArthur Foundation Genius Grant for their unique work in theatre
